This website (Mattress Uncle's official site) is operated by Cradle of Life Bedding Co., Ltd. (生活搖籃床墊寢具有限公司), based in Taiwan. This page explains what we collect, why, and how you can control it.

1. What we collect

Information you provide. When you submit the contact form, complete the mattress-matching quiz and leave your details, or book a showroom visit, we collect the name, contact details (phone / email / LINE ID) and message you enter. Your quiz answers are stored as well.

Usage behaviour (anonymous). To understand which content helps and where readers drop off, we record: pages viewed, scroll depth, time on page, buttons clicked, video watch progress, quiz progress, and on-site search terms.

These records are tagged with a random identifier stored in your browser and contain no name or contact details. If you later choose to leave your contact details, that identifier is linked to your enquiry so our sleep consultants understand what you care about.

Third-party services.

• Google Analytics 4 — helps us understand traffic sources and content performance. It sets cookies in your browser and sends usage data to Google.
• Cloudflare — provides CDN and security protection; it processes technical connection data such as IP addresses.
• YouTube / TikTok embeds — videos are embedded from those platforms (YouTube uses privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie mode). Once you press play, the platform may set its own cookies and collect viewing data under its own privacy policy.

Cookies and local storage. Language preference; an anonymous visitor identifier and session state; Google Analytics cookies.

2. How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry, arrange showroom visits, and give mattress advice
• To learn which content is useful and what needs improving
• To compile anonymous statistics for content and service planning

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for purposes unrelated to the above.

3. Retention and sharing

Contact details you provide are entered into Cradle of Life's customer service system for consultant follow-up. Anonymous behaviour records are stored on our server (cloud hosting located in Singapore). Apart from the third-party providers listed above, we do not disclose your data without your consent or a legal obligation.

4. Your rights

Under Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act you may request to: review your data; obtain a copy; correct or supplement it; stop its collection, processing or use; or delete it. Contact us through the site's contact form or our LINE official account; we will act on the request once we can verify your identity.

5. How to opt out

• Browser settings — you can block or delete cookies; some features (such as remembering your language) may stop working.
• Google Analytics — install Google's official "Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on".
• Simply don't submit anything — all content and the quiz can be used without providing any contact details.

6. Minors

This site is intended for adult consumers. If you are under 18, please use our services and provide personal data with the consent of your legal guardian.

7. Changes

Any revision will be published on this page. Material changes will be announced on the site.
